Suction

The sunny, dry summer we have been enjoying has been replaced by the more traditional torrential downpours.  It's a good job these boys are on the job letting it all drain away.

The weather is also interfering with our local mural but I think we can see what the premises will be used for.

Spray Painting

An empty industrial unit opposite work has been let and this spray job would appear to be a clue to the business.

The Other Tonys

The 3 remaining Tonys.    The top image is Mr Gormley's first cast who looks like he has dug an escape tunnel from the Gallery of Modern Art.  The 3rd & 4th  photos are of Tony number 2 in the Water of Leith just behind the Gallery. 5 & 6 are of Tony number 4 at Powderhall.

This sign is about 9 feet up a lamppost.  I frequently pass it but never stopped to examine it before.  According to the website the sign has been removed. (The phone number certainly doesn't work any more).  It was part of a project which apparently finished in 2009 so I am obviously not very observant. Thistle Do

Plenty of these emerging after the warm sunny weather and then some rain.  Good at colonising waste ground.  These just along at the end of the street from work.
