Cycleway, Trinity

Edinburgh has an extensive network of cycleways which use the routes of the old railway lines.  This one running through Trinity and on to the city centre.

Conversion

This was an old school in Henderson St in Leith.  Converted twice, originally to workshop spaces and then to flats.

The only Edinburgh thing about this photo are the references on the Departures Board in Leeds station.

Platform 9

Waverley Station. The Bristol train but I am only going as far as Leeds. The station is being extensively alterd and is in a state of chaos.

Flood Works

Work on the flood defences for the Water of Leith continues. They have narrowed the flow considerably by the Newhaven Road bridge and the venturi effect results in a suddenly quicker flow.
