So called due to the number of proximate church buildings.  Took this as we emerged from a "Birthday Do" just because the sun was shining.  The building is the Eric Liddle Centre  http://www.ericliddell.org/

Stockbridge Colonies

The flood works on the Water of Leith.  The section in the distance sans a bit of concrete wall is where the flooding occurred.

Puddle

Not raining but slow draining in Inverleith Park.  At least someone enjoys it.

Graduation

An indoor event to avoid the rain, (although it hasn't been too bad today).  A guest photo from Desmond Ryan again.  Local boy made good, Sir Tom Farmer, doing the honours in his capacity as Chancellor.

Stockbridge

The cricket ground at Arboretum Ave.  The Water of Leith bursting it's banks yesterday left the ground somewhat unplayable.

Sunshine ?

Glimpses of it anyway between the downpours.  Looking east from Corstorphine Hill towards the City and Calton Hill with E Lothian in some sun. Bits of Stockbridge, the Colonies, flooded today.  The Met Office blames the Jet Stream but I think the Bankers are behind it.
