This is the section that faces west. In the summer it is pretty much obscured by the trees.

Granton Development
Following on from the Lighthouse, these are some of the flats built in the in-filled harbour. I think work had been stopped for a while but they are back working again. The little "feature" of a channel to the water has now been realised. It originally was planned to go all the way to the lighthouse.

Lighthouse, Granton
I have posted this several times before but never from this angle. It was originally on the shore as you might expect but the harbour was partially filled in to produce a hideous industrial estate leaving it high and dry. It was, however, not a loss to navigation as it was built as a training station for prospective keepers.

Valvona & Crolla
An Edinburgh institution, the small frontage belies the large interior full of Italian goodies.

Local Business
In Bangor Road. The piles of "raw material" just lie next to the road but it wouldn't be too easy for miscreants to lift into their car boots. http://www.ikmgroup.net/

Old Leith Hospital
Viewed across Taylor Gardens on great Junction Street. Closed and turned into the inevitable flats.

Arthur's Seat
Telephoto shot along Newhaven Road at lunchtime. Just a tiny bit of snow remaining but still bitterly cold. Plenty people on top, would seem a bit extreme for rolling Easter eggs.
