Small Venue
Or rather a small venue within a venue. The Loo at Bon Papillion in Howe Street is full of paintings by one of the proprietors, Ingrid Nilsson. BP has featured before and is highly recommended, this is an extra. http://www.bonpapillon.com/index.html

The view from the kitchen window this morning. The mist has now burnt off and the heat is heading for more thunderstorms.

Regent Morton
Or rather, the burial site of James Douglas, Earl of Morton. (James, Earl Morton and hence the belief reference the initials). In Greyfriars Kirkyard. He is certainly buried here somewhere but without the usual grand grave marker as he was executed. The fourth of the regents to the young James VI.

Old Parliament House
Or at least part of it. The entrance is in Parliament Square next to St Giles in the High Street. This is a view from George IV Bridge looking east along the Cowgate. See the diagram in the link.
