A lovely little Georgian Square.  The cars do rather spoil it, should be carriages.

Samples

Mellis the cheesemongers in Deanhaugh Street occasionally have someone offering samples to passers by.  Gone a bit quiet.

Honest Abe

Using the release of the film "Lincoln" a shot of the memorial (again) in the Old Calton Burial Ground.  The first statue of Lincoln outside the United States.  (It was either that or go out in cold, wet, miserable conditions).

Blustery, dull and cold but the market goes on. Open on Sundays.

New Species?

Popped out of the egg-box like this.  Fiendish genetic manipulation I think.  Lack of posts due to both cameras being out of commission.  One now fixed.

Almost gone.  Very little snow remaining while plenty down south and even in Paris. My favourite New Town doors in Heriot Row.
