Jean de la Lune

This is the view from my bank in Leith Docks.  The giant orange beast is the "Wellservicer" , does exactly what it says on the "tin".  The small yet "Tall" ship is the brigantine "Jean de la Lune".  She used to be run as a charter service.  Currently up for sale.  Check out...

Craigmillar Castle

The castle ruins with Arthur's Seat beyond, (with four people on the top but perhaps not at web resolution).  This is south Edinburgh looking north.

More Light on the Subject

Illuminating the New Town, a lamp in the prestigious Heriot Row.

Benarty Hill

Out of town again.  In Fife for a walk inside a cloud on Benarty Hill.  Tom Bain disappearing into the mists.  Edinburgh wasn't much better.

Heavy Horse

Away from Edinburgh today.  Arriving in a dull Glasgow one of the sculptures on the motorway snapped out the window.

Shadow Lamp

Lamps like this are a feature of "New Town " houses in Edinburgh.  Surprised I wasn't arrested for photographing this one at the American Consulate in Regent Terrace.

Peacock Inn, Newhaven

The Inn dates from the 1700s and is best known for its Fish Teas, (as in High Tea).

Sundown Edinburgh
