Quarter Mile
This is a housing development bordering the Meadows on their northern edge. A redevelopment of the old Royal Infirmary buildings and newbuild stacked glass. As Neil from the "Young Ones" might have said; "ooh, bad Karma man".

Malmaison
Tower Place, Leith. The Malmaison Hotel is the building on the left. http://www.malmaison-edinburgh.com/
A fairly posh place. It's original purpose was as the Sailors Home. http://www.leithhistory.co.uk/2010/07/12/the-opening-of-the-sailors-home-leith/

This little vessel is tied up at Ocean Terminal. Owners would appear to be a furniture company. Check this address http://www.pedley.com/images/PDFs/info_pack.pdf

Last Cruise
The weekend saw the last two cruises of the season for the Paddle Steamer Waverley. More particularly it saw the last cruise for Jim McFazdean as the Chief Purser having served "23 years behind the funnels".
As usual no internet connection hence the late post. We had a "paddle box of pursers", presentations and farewells at every pier, a suitably large cake, a special Jenny hat for the occasion, (done pursering), and a couple of great days out. Mr Waverley will be a hard act to follow.

Evening Light
Intense light as the sun sank below cloud level this evening very orange. The building is the one adding colour to the water in the shot of Tony on Monday.

Little German Classic
A nearby garage does a fair bit of business with classic cars so I often see them parked close to our unit

Tony
It's a while since old Tony featured. This is about 5.30PM with the sun too low to provide any light at Tony's level but the light being reflected in off the old bond building. . Perhaps I should run a book as to when Tony will disappear again.

Another Grey Day
Glasgow this time. Sorry about the reflection in the windscreen. Is it just me or has anyone else noted the increasingly crazy sequencing of traffic lights. The rest of the traffic on our bit of road is filtering right. No other traffic is moving. Why do we have a long red light?

Grey Day
A horrobly dull grey day. Down at the supermarket for batteries, going through to the west to "do" a wedding for an old friend. You can just about make out Arthurs Seat in the background.

Rainbow
Almost the same spot as yesterday. After a day of rain we finish with a rainbow, almost a double rainbow.
