A dull wet day in Edinburgh, how surprising. This is the view looking east from the bridge that crosses the Western Approach Road as it arrives at Lothian road so you are looking at the west side of the Castle.
Taken from the top of Dumayat, the most westerly of the Ochill Hills. A telephoto shot towards Edinburgh through the cold haze. You can just about make out the big crane at Rosyth Docks, with the Forth Bridges behind and then back to the Castle and Arthur's Seat. Need to click on to enlarge. Probably about 35 miles away.
