A guest appearance of Glasgow.  Sadly the Collins Gallery, part of the University of Strathclyde, closed an exhibition for the last time.  The last day of "George Willey, A Life Less Ordinary" brought out a good crowd to see the exhibition and to say farewell to the Gallery and Laura Hamilton who has made such a good job of running the gallery for all these years.

This is part of an old "table" style grave near the Church in Libberton kirkyard.  A well to do farmer.  Interesting that the team pulling the plow is mixed being led by two horses and then four oxen.

Winter Returns

After a record breaking March in terms of sunshine and temperatures April as arrived and today brought high winds, driving rain, sleet, snow and finally this hail. The car park was as far as I was prepared to go for a photo.
