The Scotsman

The old Scotsman building on North Bridge.  The newspaper has long moved to new premises near the parliament.  The Scotsman is now a hotel.  They are working on the Scotsman Steps, hence the hoarding.

St George's in George Street, part of St Andrew's and St George's, and about to get a new minister. Without correcting the verticals it looks like it could take off.  Light the blue touch paper and retire....

A section of Inverleith pond has been turned into a mini "wetland". This is one of the inhabitants. Lack of ornithological nouse leaves me with just the generic.
