Gable End

Like yesterday's photo the modern block sits on a small site attached to the gable end, (like the one on the right), of an old building.  Space for building in Edinburgh is at a premium.

Flat Iron - Not

Hardly in the same league as the famous Flat Iron building but the same principle of using an awkard triangular site in Leith.
