International Rescue

Well attempted at least.  The staff and clientele of Bon Papillion in Howe Street used anything at hand in an attempt to extricate a green cockatoo (or some such escaped exotic bird) from  under the car.  The creature was spotted by two young American ladies but the bird didn't seem to realise that all the efforts were in it's best interest.  It was still at large when I left.

Gogar Junction

One of Edinburgh's numerous bottlenecks and a thoroughly rotten day to boot.

Backcourt

Many of the buildings in the Royal Mile were replaced with flats.  Sometimes the attempt to blend into the old street are passable.  This backcourt has more than a hat tip to the old tradition of the external stair.
