No flood defences here, just after the weir at the Quilts, as the river bends towards the bridge at Great Junction Street.

Tony, Stockbridge

The waters have abated but Tony is still festooned with debris from the last high water.  The Bonnington Gormley is still face down and under the surface and will probably be like that all winter.

More flood works on the Water of Leith, including a temporary bridge to get the heavy plant to where it is needed.
