This is the Stockbridge "Tony", the Antony Gormley casts in the Water of Leith.  Our local Tony still lies submerged, must be 7 or 8 months now. Didn't want to finish the year without a last appearance.

Weather appalling, wet and windy.  A day for indoors.

National Portrait Gallery

The refurbished Gallery is now open again having been closed for a year.  They seem to have made a pretty good job of it.  There was no access to the library before, one of the many changes.

The Fairy went on struike so the bears volunteered their services.

Princes Street Gardens

All the fun of the Christmas Fair plus some rain and strong winds. The German Market closes tonight and they are in sale mode.  Fill the bag with stollen for a fiver.

The old lampost outside work, again. 

Jam

Of the traffic variety. Pretty poor picture from phone but pretty poor for the passengers.  This is Shandwick pLace and this jam consists mostly of buses and goes at least all the way to Haymarket.
