Bonnington Tony Returns
I was going to post an Edinburgh haar shot as it started grey and miserable but I spotted the large crane. (The sun has come through but weakly and temps are around 13C cf Glasgow 19C). It seems that Tony will be ritually hung once a year. He has spent the entire winter face down under the water but resurfaced thanks to a crew of 7 and the crane. (I guess 2 frogpersons placing and fixing the bolts, 2 from the engineering company responsible for fixing the structure, 2 with the crane and an interested party from the National Gallery). I was told that Tony weighs 700 Kg, a bit more than the average man.
