Candlemaker Row and Greyfriars

A genuine summer morning but dulled down this afternoon. One side of Candlemaker Row backs onto Greyfriars Kirkyard so the buildings come with built-in tombstones.  The plain headstone in the foreground marks the resting place of John Gray, master of Greyfriar's Bobby.
