Pavement Repairs

Amazing the massive disruption involved in doing a new pavement. Newhaven Road/Ferry Road junction. A couple of hundred metres of pavements, 2 weeks?

    Don't get me started... here in Zurich I believe they relaid the airport runway without interrupting any flights...

    What I don't understand is why the English are so interested in maintaining the Union? (and the Welsh apparently, now there's a thought). Surely they'd be better off not having to worry about "Rebellious Scots to crush". And of course to lose Scotland would be "No great mischief". Problem I see if is if Independence means repatriating Michael Gove...

    Are they? The politicos at Westminster are. the "English" as a whole aren't too exercised by all this unless they are readers of the Mail. Dual nationality so we don't need to worry about Mr Gove.
