Arran and Bute

Not Edinburgh again! Another day off! On Cumbrae looking towards Arran in the distance over the south end of the Isle of Bute.

    I've been examining this on the map. I wish I'd visited this area more. In a childhood spent in Balloch family excursions in the 60's never made it to the islands for some reason, although we spent many weekends driving around Argyll. Maybe my father didn't trust ferries. I'm feeling a certain tug, obviously.....

    Tug away. The islands further west are even better. Come and join us for a week on a yacht. Plan ahead and organise the weather.
