Surgeons Hall has a Pathology Museum where you can view William Burke's death mask.  It has many fine rooms and is now a popular venue for weddings.

Water of Leith

This is a view of the Water of Leith as it passes through Dean Village.  We are looking towards the Dean Bridge which spans the little gorge created by the river.  The trees now obscure the bridge.  The Church was originally built as an early electricity sub station, a disguise so as not to spoil the area.  No longer needed for electric purposes it has been fitted out as a church.  Isn't life strange.

Daffodils

These are a miniature variety but the first daffs I have seen this year.  Nature is trying to sucker us into believeing that spring has arrived but I suspect she is not entirely truthful.

The main hall in Jenners Department Store.  Jenners has been an Edinburgh landmark since 1895 but in recent years it's been more like a mall with different companies operating different sections but the building remains its old self.
