I remember in 1973 going to a concert in this gentle old lady. Guess who it was? The not so gentle Led Zeppelin... how times change, Now major rock bands only see to be accommodated in farmers fields or vast sporting stadiums. I think, actually that was the last rock concert performed in the King's. From memory, some of the Victorian stucco and plasterwork started falling from the ceiling during "Rock 'n Roll"
